Summit Quest began after founder William James lost his father to cancer in 2007. During the diagnosis and treatment process William connected to other families facing similar circumstances. Some of these families had children and grandchildren who struggled with not only seeing their loved one sick but also with finding a role to help in the treatment process. As friends and community partners connected with this story Summit Quest was born and began connecting families with opportunities of strength and hope that would accompany them along their journey with their loved one. Summit Quest continues to be blessed with partnerships and community support that allows for the greatest possible impact on children and families affected by cancer.
